Hello,
First time poster here. I have Fios and am seriously thinking about getting the Roamio as Fios' DVR is behind the times.
The challenge I'm having is getting the dreaded buy-in from my wife. It's primarily due to the kids' on demand programming. My kids are used to Fios on-demand and she is concerned we won't have the same amount of choices with Tivo (since VOD isn't available with Fios when you have Tivo).
I know I can just record a lot of kid's shows but what about streaming on the Roamio? Admittedly we don't stream much now (primarily due to the fact that I have trouble with a wireless stream from my router to the blu ray player). From a little research I've done it seems Moca will correct my wireless streaming issues as I'll have a wired connection (please correct me if I'm wrong). Assuming that's the case, what is available via the Roamio's apps/channels? I'm not going to pay for more TV so Netflix isn't an option. What kids programming is available for free via Roamio's apps (youtube?)
Thanks in advance for your help.
Adam
